Specifications, colors, legal restrictions, prices and availability are subject to change at any time without notice. By placing an order, the Buyer signifies agreement to these Terms of Sale.
LEGAL STATUS of PRODUCTS
When applicable, equipment sold may be subject to Public Law 90-351, Title 111, 18 U.S.D., Section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances. It is the responsibility of the BUYER, to ascertain and obey all applicable local, state or federal laws in regard to possession and use of any item from this on-line store. If in any doubt consult your attorney regarding local, state or federal laws before ordering. BY PLACING an ORDER, the BUYER REPRESENTS THAT HE/SHE is of legal age and that the products will be used only in a lawful manner.
| EXPORT REGULATIONS & DELIVERY TIME
Shipping Level III and IV RIFLE Plates outside the US requires a U.S. State Department export permit which can take 6 weeks to 4 months. Please plan your purchases accordingly. Level II-A, Level II and Level III-A Body Armor could require a Department of Commerce export license but is generally license exempt to most countries. To check on Body Armor regulations in your country, and estimate import duties and taxes into your country, please consult your government.
| Return Policy | Under no circumstances will any returns be allowed on custom built and special order items. Civilian Source customers must obtain a Return Authorization # before attempting to return any merchandise to Civilian Source. Certain Manufacturers insist on defective or damaged merchandise being returned directly to them, so you need to check with us first. | Civilian Source will not accept any returned
merchandise without a valid RA#
| To obtain a RA#, email us at Returns@getsomegear.net. A customer service representative will give you a RA# that must be clearly indicated on the outside of the return parcel, as well as on any paperwork. | | Civilian Source will not be obligated to accept any returns of product submitted more than 15 days after shipment of such products to customer, excluding returns of defective product. RA#'s have a validity period of 15 days from the date of issue.
| Restocking Fees
Non-defective merchandise returned to Civilian Source for any reason other than a miss-ship of product, will be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Product must be received by us in original condition and within 30 days of our shipping date, or it cannot accepted for return. |

| CUSTOMER ACCOUNT, PASSWORD, AND SECURITY

| TERMINATION/ACCESS RESTRICTION
CIVILIAN SOURCE reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to any or all CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. CIVILIAN SOURCE may also terminate or suspend your access to CIVILIAN SOURCE Site/Service(s) for inactivity, which is defined as failing to log into a particular service for an extended period of time, as determined by CIVILIAN SOURCE. Upon termination of the CIVILIAN SOURCE Site/Service, your right to use the CIVILIAN SOURCE Site/Service immediately ceases. CIVILIAN SOURCE shall have no obligation to maintain any content or to forward any unread or unsent messages to you or any third party.
| GENERAL
The laws of the State of California, U.S.A., govern this agreement. You hereby irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Calaveras County, California, U.S.A. in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and CIVILIAN SOURCE as a result of this agreement or use of the CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services. You agree to indemnify and hold CIVILIAN SOURCE, its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and employees, harmless from any claim, demand, or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, asserted by any third party due to or arising out of your use of or conduct on the CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services. CIVILIAN SOURCE reserves the right to disclose any personal information about you or your use of the CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services, including its contents, without your prior permission if CIVILIAN SOURCE has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; (2) protect and defend the rights or property of CIVILIAN SOURCE or its affiliated companies; (3) enforce the terms or use; or (4) act to protect the interests of its members or others. CIVILIAN SOURCE's performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of CIVILIAN SOURCE's right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services or information provided to or gathered by CIVILIAN SOURCE with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect. Unless otherwise specified herein, this agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the user and CIVILIAN SOURCE with respect to the CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services and it supersedes all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether electronic, oral or written, between the user and CIVILIAN SOURCE with respect to the CIVILIAN SOURCE Sites/Services. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form.
